My name is Winnies Mathevula, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 3 Candidate in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

I am standing as a Ward Councillor to see provide better service delivery, eliminate corruption and create a better environment for residents in the community.

The major issues in the Ward include poor garbage and refuse collection, unsanitary conditions across the community due to poor maintenance of sewerage infrastructure, non-functioning streetlights, youth unemployment, and major issues regarding housing for residents in informal settlements.

I am a community activist with good communications skills, which allow me to express the concerns of residents to the municipality. I also have very good interpersonal skills. I am decisive, a quick thinker and have a strong commitment to the betterment of my community.
