Name: Susan Masitele

Ward: Ward 5, Ekurhuleni

My name is Susan Masitele, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 5 Candidate in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

I am standing as a Ward Councillor because I believe in that the DA is taking the lead in confronting socio-economic challenges faced by many in SA. I am also standing to inspire and encourage youth development in the community and provide successful representation of their issues to the municipality.

My ward has many issues that range from illegal dumping, drugs, unemployment and crime. I intend to help solve these problems, by not only holding the municipality to account, but also creating more employment opportunities for our youth.

I plan to inspire and empower our youth to be active members of our community, and to bring hope to this lost generation by providing opportunities that will impact themselves and their families.

I am an active member of the community and involved in crime fighting initiatives. I have organised a netball team for young girls and have regular meetings that promote the wellness of the community.

I am hard working, solution-driven and consistent. I always hold the interests of residents and the community my highest priority,
