My name is Sally Nene and I’m the Democratic Alliance (DA) ward candidate for Ward 35.

As a DA Ward candidate for Ward 35, I believe the community of Ward 35 deserves better.

I believe that it’s about time that the residents of Ward 35, experience the DA difference. Residents deserve to live in a ward where things get done.

Ward 35 has been plagued by massive unplanned blackouts, which last extended periods of time, the waste is not collected timeously, which results in illegal dumping and leaves our community littered with waste. Water outages in Germiston has become the norm, while raw sewerage flows through the streets posing a serious health hazard to our communities.

How has this become the norm! It’s time we get back to basics. It’s time to provide quality services to communities, with reliable and sustainable water, sanitation and electricity

I am very active in Ward 35 and believe in community consultation and engagements. I will continue to fight for all residents and businesses in ward 35. It is time for change. We cannot continue to allow our once thriving community to fall into a state of collapse. I am serious about making sustainable services a reality once more.
