My name is Precious Jacobs, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 12 Candidate in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

I am standing as a Ward Candidate because I want to actively uphold communities in a consistent manner and defend the basic values of a free and a non-racial society. I also believe that all residents that should receive the best possible services and no community should be neglected.

I want to drive the following issues in Ward 12: the incomplete sub-station, Illegal dumping, and access to a satellite clinic. I also want to drive the upgrading of the Chloorkop Industrial Area.

My vision for Ward 12 is to see a clean environment that does not compromise on the health of residents. A Ward where all residents enjoy basic service delivery. A community where residents work together to hold the government and their representatives accountable. A community where local businesses are thriving to benefit the community at large.

I am an activist at heart, and I aim to engage with community groups and institutions to address issues that impact and influence the wellbeing of the community and its members.

I want to a create a space where harmonious relationships can be built with members of the community based on trust, fairness, and openness.

I am tenacious and I can engage with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Having completed my Political Science degree and have worked in corporate politics (Operations and Administration) for more than five years, I bring valuable skills to better serve the community of Ward 12.
