Ward: Ward 52, Ekurhuleni

My name is Nkosinathi Zamokwakwhe Shandu, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 52 Candidate in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

I am standing as a Ward Councillor to deliver proper services to my community. Ensure that all citizens, regardless of their political opinion, race, gender, religion are treated equally in the community, while upholding the Constitution.

I intend to improve the Ward by eradicating the recurrence of the many issues experienced in the community, which include multiple sewage blockages and power failures. These issues are hindering the development of the Ward, and restricting the building of recreational facilities such as parks so that our children have a safe place to play.

As a hostel resident, I run the service delivery forum that is responsible for ensuring that the municipality delivers timeously services. I am a traditional leader, but lack formal qualifications because I am directly affected by the lack of development and opportunities within the community.
