Name: Moses Itumeleng Madekgetla

Ward: Ward 10, Ekurhuleni

My name is Moses Itumeleng Madekgetla, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 10 Candidate in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

I am standing as a Ward Councillor because I believe in the DA’s policy for freedom, fairness, and opportunity. My passion is to serve the community and to provide residents with service delivery that is not littered by corruption and politics.

Ward 10 has an array of challenges, and I will be driving the following issues:

- illegal dumping

- indigent status

- access to housing and housing issues

- basic services delivery

I am to see the economy of Ward 10 growing and mobilise job opportunities for the youth, given the high youth unemployment rate in Ekurhuleni. I would also like to play a pivotal in ensuring a clean and well serviced ward for the community of Ward 10.

I am a qualified paralegal and I understand legislative processes, which will assist me in serving the people of Ekurhuleni. I am a young and ambitious individual and youth development issues will also be on the top of my agenda.

As a resident of Ekurhuleni, I relate to the issues that are plagued by the community and I will go the extra mile to drive these issues.
