Name: Mary Goby

Ward: Ward 28, Ekurhuleni

My name is Mary Goby, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 28 Candidate in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

As the current ward councillor for Ward 28, and the DA ward candidate, I strive to ensure that I am always available to take up issues for my community until they are resolved.

While we have come a long way, I am ready to serve the community again. I have been fighting to have the blocked storm water drains replaced, as many have collapsed due to old infrastructure. Our maintenance of parks will also be a priority as well as delivering quality services.

It is time to bring this ward back to what Benoni should be, “the Jewel of the East”. I want to give the residents and community the ‘Blue Dream’ of a City that is effectively run, free from corruption and cadre deployment.

We are ready to get things done. It is time for a capable government to deliver quality services and get the basics right.
