My name is Madelaine Muller, and I am the Democratic Alliance (DA) ward candidate for Ward 22.

As the DA ward candidate for Ward 22, I am standing to make a difference for the community. I’m ready to serve!

I believe that South Africans, and in particular, the people of Ekurhuleni deserve a government that represents them. As the representative who is closest to the people, I believe that I can help with decision-making and policy development for the residents that I represent.

I want to drive faster turnaround times for the repair of electrical, water and roads infrastructure, which have severely affected the community of Ward 22. It is of paramount importance that my residents feel represented in all matters that concern their right to access basic service delivery as well as their overall safety within the community.

As the Candidate for ward 22, I would like residents to feel that they are being represented and that there is someone fighting for them. At the end of my term, I would like to look at the ward knowing that I have left a lasting legacy.

I will strive to ensure Ward 22 has reliable and sustainable service delivery. The area has been plagued by power outages and failing storm water drainage systems. It is time for accountability and clean governance, it is time for the DA difference.

I am focused and driven; and am passionate about ensuring equality, opportunity and fairness for all my fellow community members as well as the diversity that we, as South Africans, have come to be proud of.
