Name: Mabekenyane Thamahane

Ward: Ward 90, Ekurhuleni

My name is Mabekenyane Thamahane, and I am the Democratic Alliance Ward 90 Candidate in Ekurhuleni.

I am passionate about my community and ready to serve all residents of Ward 90. It is for this reason why I am standing as a Ward Councillor.

The community needs renewed hope and a capable government that gets the basics right and gets things done. I will be dealing with service delivery issues affecting the community in the ward.

The issues currently affecting the community are potholes, faulty streetlights, access to housing, and the non-collection of waste. I will also be driving the following issues: illegal dumping and the re-blocking of informal settlements.

I have been a PR Councillor in the CoE for the past two terms and I will use the knowledge I have learnt, the skills I have gained, and the contacts I have made to ensure that Ward 90 residents enjoy uninterrupted service delivery.

I am a go getter, passionate about serving the community and I am ready to serve the community of Ward 90.
