My name is Jaco Terblanche and I’m the Democratic Alliance (DA) ward candidate for Ward 16.

As the DA Ward Candidate for Ward 16, I believe that I can make a difference to the community I serve.

I believe in resolving issues and in getting the basics right. I want the residents and community of ward 16 to live in a crime free area, something I have been fighting for during my current term.

We need stable services, water and electricity outages need to be escalated and reported speedily. By ensuring clear communication with the platforms available, I will ensure regular report backs on service delivery challenges.

My aspirations for the new term is to pressure the City into building a new reservoir to provide water to Aston Manor and Glen Marais area as well as upgrade the water and sanitation network in the surrounding areas. This will provide the community with reliable water and end the extended periods of water outages we are currently experiencing. Our community deserves to live in crime free areas and clean open spaces.

You deserve a committed political party that is serious about getting things done. As your councillor, I will continue to drive community issues and will not stop until they are resolved.
