Ald Heather Hart Receiving Alderman Status

The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Ekurhuleni is proud and honoured to have Cllr Heather Hart and Cllr Bill Rundle conferred with Aldermanship Status at the last council meeting of this term.

The conferment of aldermanship showcases and honours the hard work and dedication DA councillors have worked towards, with huge sacrifices in order to better serve their residents.

Ald Bill Rundle Receiving Alderman Status

This Council awarded civic honour is only bestowed upon councillors who meet the strict criteria in accordance with the provisions of the Alderman Policy.

As the DA, we further acknowledge the hard work of Ald Hart and Ald Rundle have undertaken to ensure that their communities and residents across the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) are served with dignity. Ald Hart and Ald Rundle continue to play key roles in holding the failing ANC and its coalition partners to account and put the best interests of residents ahead of their own.

They are worthy recipients of Alderman Status and they join a host of fellow DA councillors in Ekurhuleni, who also hold this prestigious honour.

The DA is serious about getting things done, and with dedicated DA public representatives fighting hard every day to improve the lives of all communities in Ekurhuleni, a vote for the DA on 1 November, is a vote to get things done.
